The name Pahlaj Nihalani and the banner Chiragdeep International(earlier Vishaldeep International), brings to mind stars like Chunkey Pandey and of course Hero No. 1 Govinda. They were both introduced by Pahlaj in his movies AAG HI AAG and ILZAAM respectively. Pahlaj also produced AANKHEN, David Dhawan’s first big hit with Govinda in 1993. Things have not been very bright for one of the most busy producers of the 80s and the 90s. His last production TALAASH: THE HUNT BEGINS.., featuring Akshay and Kareena and directed by Suneel Darshan, failed at the box-office. However, the veteran producer is back again with KHUSHBOO, directed by Rajesh Ram Singh. The movie featuring newfinds Rishi and Avantika, is presently being shot in Kullu-Manali, where Saroj Khan is choreographing an important dance number on the lead pair.
